Kicking off November 18th, Mixed Education is a bi-weekly educational seminar series led by head Bartender Soren Schepkowski & friends, designed to inspire and inform hospitality professionals. Held on Mondays, these sessions will delve into the art and science of the bar industry, covering topics such as cocktail creation, distilling techniques, spirit history, wine and beer fundamentals, and the intricacies of hospitality. Led by experts in their fields, these interactive seminars offer attendees the chance to deepen their craft while fostering a community of shared knowledge and innovation. Whether you're a seasoned bartender or a curious novice, Mixed Education promises to deliver the insights and techniques you need to thrive in the ever-evolving hospitality landscape.
Show & Tell is an opportunity for industry professionals to access Mount Pleasant Vintage & Provision's unique and expansive collection of specialized bar tools and equipment. This hands-on experience allows bartenders, mixologists, and beverage innovators to experiment with cutting-edge technology, including:
● Distillation Equipment: Glass scientific still, homemade metal pot still, and a state-of-the-art rotovap.
● Ice Crafting Tools: Three ice machines (Hoshi Cuber, Scotsman Nugget Machine, Ice Block Maker), Carving Station, and other professional tools for crafting bespoke ice.
